Inbound Returns Administrator

Job Purpose Summary

To provide a comprehensive return product service to our customers and vendors alike.  

Role Responsibilities

  • Check/process/credit/replace customers returned products within a timely manner
  • All non-RMA products including all returns are accurately logged with appropriate references or VRET number and sent to CS for validation
  • Raise discrepancy reports with the CS team accordingly using CRM and email ensuring the RE request is booked in correctly into the correct vendor allocation 
  • Stock is transferred back into the sellable location within an agreed timeframe and checked off accordingly
  • Using Plant transfers in SAP and movement of goods to the correct plant
  • Assist Inbound Co-ordinator resolving and tackling outstanding or new issues 
  • Receive and book on to CMS ERP System (SAP) and CRM customer database all returned products and ensure all associated documentation is completed and processed within timely manner
  • Ensure returned product is accurately counted and receipted onto CMS ERP (SAP) with any discrepancies clearly noted and promptly reported to Customer Services.
  • Process and handle stock transfers between warehouse locations when necessary accurately with a clean audit trail of transactions
  • Perform regular stock checks and/or spot checks as required and support the outbound co-ordinator with stock counts and resolving discrepancies
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with ISO 9001 procedures

  • Able to locate stock through SAP
  • Conversant in stock taking procedures and provide accurate counting
  • Aisle management and has attention to detail
  • Works to high standards; areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety requirements
  • Has worked with key customer SLA agreements and understands customer requirements 

Health and Safety

  • It is the responsibility of the employee and Management to ensure that best working practice is carried out in all operations. Internal training may be required on specialised equipment.

Skills & Personal Attributes

Skills 

  • Experience in a warehouse environment preferred Fully conversant with Microsoft packages
  • Responsible and proactive in nature
  • You must have a high attention to accuracy
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional telephone manner
