Job Purpose Summary

The purpose of this role is to grow Newgen’s revenue and profit with retail customers by providing them with an attractive and innovative portfolio of vendors products, delivering category management solutions and exceeding their expectations. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow Newgen’s revenue and GP with existing and new retail customers
  • Apply best-in-class knowledge of commercial methods to drive both top-line sales as bottom-line profitability, including price-management, category/range-definition, promotional activations, calendar-management
  • Work with Sales Management to execute CMS and Newgen’s sales strategy 
  • Work with CMS Product managers to expand the brand-portfolio in Stockholm available to retail customers 
  • Work independently to list, range and promote all key lines where applicable.
  • Build strong internal partnerhips with all key stakeholers across the business 
  • Drive in-depth channel/sales-analysis, daily monitoring and adaptation of pricing/offering, 
  • Acquire new customers and expand our brand portfolio to existing customers -targets will be issued quarterly as will KPI’s.
     

Additional Responsibilities

Skills & Personal Attributes

  • 3rd level education degree
  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role within IT distribution or a manufacturer of IT equipment / Consumer Electronics devices.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Nordic retail industry and their expectations from key suppliers and key customers.
  • Previous management experience of Junior Account managers would be a plus 
  • Fluent english and swedish speaker
  • Qualification in MS-Pack (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook) required. Previous experience in SAP Hana and derivative applications.
  • Full driving license
