Job Purpose Summary
The Graphic Designer will be a key role for driving growth for our vendors, customers, and business, supporting the design and execution of key campaign collateral. You will be an integral part of our visual design direction internally, ensuring we are represented in the best possible light across all touchpoints and working to strengthen and maintain our brand. This role will create key visuals on behalf of the business, as well as with vendors and partners as required. Critical elements of this role are putting forward innovative designs and solutions that support vendor strategies and implementing their feedback into your work.
Role Responsibilities
Design and Creative Development:
Conceptualise and create visually appealing design assets for internal and external branding briefs.
Design and production of physical assets, including but not limited to point-of-sale, physical banners, brochures, large format advertising, event signage, exhibition stands, etc.
Design and production of digital assets, including but not limited to web banners, site takeovers, social graphics, websites, etc.
Collaborate with stakeholders at different levels to ensure all design elements align with brand guidelines and resonate with the target audience.
Input to campaign proposals, presenting ideas and context to key stakeholders to gain buy-in.
Creation of innovative ideas to drive the CMS brand forwards, keeping it up to date, and suggestions on how we leverage branded assets for brand awareness.
Support creation of brand guidelines for new products and lines.
Design for product packaging including 3D renders.
Front-end website design.
Animation and video skills to create internal and external content.
PowerPoint Design for wider business usage e.g. templates for corporate decks.
Marketing Operations and Campaign Management:
Direct contribution to campaign execution and stakeholder management.
Email marketing coordination and execution via HubSpot.
Analysing marketing campaign effectiveness and carrying out A/B testing. Feeding this insight back to the marketing team to create a continuous process of testing and refinement.
Monitor, track, and report on all digital marketing activity through HubSpot, Google Analytics, Qlikview, and other BI platforms.
Additional Responsibilities
Contribution and Project Support:
Contribute to strategic business projects, including digital transformation initiatives such as corporate website, e-commerce platform, and social channels.
Reporting on progress and updates as needed.
Supporting marketing cost recovery through campaign execution and providing Proof Of Activity.
Where needed, early involvement in campaign scoping projects for creative and design suggestions aligned to vendor/customer/internal briefs.
Problem Solving and Innovation:
Creation of key documentation for graphic design processes.
Identify gaps in the market or opportunities for innovation and making an impact.
Put forward ideas for how campaign concepts and design support vendor and customer objectives.
Taking customer segmentation and focus into account when designing; tailoring graphics to support key messaging.
Other appropriate Ad Hoc duties as requested by your line manager.
Skills & Personal Attributes
Qualifications & Experience
A qualification in marketing such as a diploma, or Bachelor’s degree.
Essential: 2+ years’ experience with graphic design.
Essential: experience with a campaign management tool e.g. HubSpot
Essential: Experience with Adobe creative suite. Adobe Creative Cloud - Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
Desirable: Experience with video editing and animation.
Figma Experience desirable.
