Job Purpose Summary

An exciting opportunity for a dynamic, and results oriented Sales Leader to join a growing and ambitious CMS Leadership team.

The successful candidate will create strategy and execute tactical plans to double the business in Ireland (2023 FY £32M) across Retail, Etail & Business channels by building a strong portfolio of products and services, and an engaged customer base. Key to this role will be building a high performance culture with sales, vendor management and technical resources whilst fostering a growth mindset across the team.
 

Role Responsibilities

  • Devise and implement an annual sales strategy for IRE that delivers both Revenue & GP targets
  • Full P&L responsibility - Drive profitable growth through effective sales budgeting resource allocation, & forecasting
  • Lead Sales, Technical and Vendor Management functions through a suitable management structure with clear KPI’s and expectations
  • Build a performance culture on clear Leading KPIs such as Conversion Rate, Quote Volumes, Vendors per customer.
  • Drive behaviours in resources that grow Whitespace through New Customers & New Vendor penetration.
  • Work closely with commercial teams to develop opportunities in cables and connectivity, Draytek, Power & other high growth segments of CMS portfolio.
  • Create, and be accountable for important projects that drive automation, productivity, innovation and efficiency including the 10% challenge.
  • Responsibility for CMS Store success in Ireland.
  • Customer / Vendor interaction & relationships at a senior level through Customer visits, QBRs and Industry events.

Skills & Personal Attributes

Skills & Abilities:

  • 10+ Years experience the Irish Channel
  • Experience in B2B and B2C sectors
  • Leadership Skills and high levels of emotional intelligence
  • The ability to build trusted partnerships at Executive & Director level
  • A strong commercial understanding, constantly seeking opportunities to improve financial performance, process and culture
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high-degree of self-ownership.
  • The ability to manage multiple Tactical and Operational priorities through to completion with short and long-term objectives.
  • Harness Business Intelligence captured and maintained through CRM to build and activate innovative GTM campaigns
