Job Purpose Summary

To ensure that the stock record is accurate and operationally efficient for the Castleford Site.

Role Responsibilities

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily cycle counts and process any rechecks.
  • Training and coaching of warehouse staff on cycle count process.
  • Support periodic full site stock checks and any following re-checks.
  • Determine appropriate physical stock locations for products based on velocity reports
  • Use stock bin reports to effectively relocate non conforming products
  • Support the removal of damaged/non conforming goods from the warehouse · Investigate and resolve customer service shipping issues.
  • Investigate and resolve warehouse stock queries.
  • Carry out stock rotations as requested by Product Managers.

 

Key Measures of Performance:

  • Stock accuracy as measured by the value adjusted.
  • Number of products per location

Additional Responsibilities

Skills & Personal Attributes

Skills & Abilities:

  • Financial awareness to understand the impact of stock loss
  • Numerate and systems literate (Excel, SAP, database)

 

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of warehouse processes, preferably in an electronics or FMCG environment
  • Experience of stock count processes
  • Experienced user of ERP systems (Prefer SAP) and Warehouse Management systems (Prefer HighJump)
  • Understanding of data analysis tools within Excel to identify patterns and trends Personal Attributes:
